In this 2.5 hour taster session you will be introduced to a variety of alternative jewellery materials and experiment with how they can be manipulated into a successful jewellery design.  You will be supplied with a choice of perspex, leather and a rummage through Aubin's colourful hoard of scrap materials to create a colourful jewellery composition in the form of a brooch or a necklace.
 
Aubin will demonstrate introductory jewellery techniqes such as saw piercing + riveting methods.  With only 2 participants in the session you will have plenty room to take your time to ask questions and receive one to one guidance. These sessions are designed to be relaxed, fun and a place to simply be creative.
 
These sessions are open to beginners or those who have some jewellery skills who would like to try a new material. An eye for detail, reasonable dexterity and patience are handy skills to bring.
 
All materials will be provided. This workshop will take place at my studio at Deemouth Artist Studios, Torry Aberdeen which is a 10 minute walk from either the Aberdeen Train or Bus Station. There is also a car park on site with free parking subject to availibility and the local bus service has a stop nearby the studio.
